Pre Smoke Evaluation:
The buds are sticky and fluffy and have trouble hiding their purple trichrome laden bits from view. The nugs emanate a smell of what can only be described as pez candy.
Post Smoke Evaluation:
Volcano: This cannabis out of the Volcano was great. Smooth silky and tasting of licorice. The high kicked in after about 10 minutes and left me with an overwhelming calm feeling. Lasting a good 3 hours was a nice bonus.
RooR: Out of the RooR the Erkle tasted kind of chemical,I could not tell whether it was the way it was grown or just the way this bud burns. high kicking in about 7 minutes but only lasting 2 hours.
Conclusion: The Purple Erkle was pretty good and gives you a very nice calm relaxing couch lock feel,however I also got a bit of a headache half way through this strain every time I smoked it which is not ideal. The Chemical taste when burned as compared to vaporization was also a drawback. Despite the negatives the Erkle is a great relaxing strain. I would say a bit lower on the THC side so there is room for improvement. Despite all my gripes it is still a great strain and rightfully receives a 4/5 noses up.
