Pre Smoke Evaluation: The Buds were very orange and sparkly. Thick yet fluffy with a vibrant fruity smell. The smell turns citrus and fruity when ground up.
Post Smoke Evaluation:
Volcano: Smooth and spicy with a slight hint of strawberries as you might have guessed. The Volcano high kicked in after about 7 minutes with full effects felt by 15. The high can only be described as mellow and warm yet with a slight soaring body high.
RooR:The smoke from the RooR tastes like potent fruit punch with a musky scent to it. The high kicks in after about 5 minutes and full effect can be felt in about 10. The high is pretty much the same as the Volcano but beware it can be a bit panicky because of the predominant Sativa nature of this strain.
Conclusion: The strawberry cough is a potent strain that works great for depression and getting that get up and go energy. It also provides a nice body high but I would not reccomend this for a bedtime bowl strain. The high off the Sour Diesel lasts about 3-3.5 hours which is always a plus. Be careful if your smoking out of a big bong. This strain can get kind of panicky so make sure you are prepared for that, it helps being a veteran Sativa smoker. Anyway this strain is great and I encourage you to pick some up. Snob Approval 5/5 noses up.
